LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) — Hundreds of battle veterans put in the day on an important annual journey.
With the motto, “Vets aiding Vets,” the Beat Veterans Bike Association rode from the Kentucky Exposition Heart in Louisville to the Kentucky Vietnam Veterans Memorial in Frankfort on Thursday.

Associates of the business from all 50 states rode into Louisville this week for its nationwide convention, but they have additional than just that in prevalent.
“We are almost certainly about 20,000 strong nationwide, members are all overcome vets,” Jonathan Scholl explained. “All week we’re celebrating our national convention.”
Some traveled hundreds, even thousands of miles to be a portion of the conference, but they stated the most significant journey occurred Thursday afternoon.
It can be a journey that took the veterans on a journey across Interstate 64. At the conclusion of the journey, they arrived in Frankfort at the Kentucky Vietnam Veterans Memorial.
“It really is emotional each and every solitary time, provides again a ton of reminiscences to a lot of of us,” Scholl explained. “Again, honor these that we have lost.”
At the memorial, they heard from retired Brig. Gen. Leslie Beavers.

As Beavers spoke, he experienced the undivided consideration of the veterans.

Battle Veterans Motorbike Association’s meeting goes right until June 26. The veteran’s charity estimates there are more than 5,000 users and their families in all 50 states.
