
Iconic car from classic film musical to headline car show in Enniskerry
The iconic Chitty Chitty Bang Bang car is the headline attraction at the Powerscourt Parish Vehicle Exhibit in Enniskerry.
he Powerscourt Parish Veteran, Vintage and Typical Car or truck Demonstrate will be held on Sunday, May possibly 29 in the grounds of St Patrick’s Church, opposite Powerscourt Estate in Enniskerry.
Organisers have curated an exhibition of vehicles from the 1900s to the 1980s, headlined by the iconic Chitty Chitty Bang Bang from the significantly-cherished 1968 musical. A really distinctive assortment of vehicles will be on show, including a historic 1918 Stutz Bearcat, which competed in the Peking to Paris rally, a Mercedes ‘Gullwing’ and a exceptional Ferrari 275 GTB.
