Seven-year-old girl dies after falling out of car on 5 Freeway; Mother, boyfriend charged with child abuse

A seven-yr-old female was fatally wounded when she fell out of the window of a relocating automobile that was touring on the 5 Freeway in Newhall on Saturday. Her mom and boyfriend have been equally arrested and billed with baby abuse on Wednesday. 

The girl fell from the 1999 Lincoln Navigator at about 3:40 a.m. Saturday as the team was driving along the northbound 5 Freeway near Weldon Canyon Road.

California Freeway Patrol officers rushed to the scene following getting a phone that a car or truck “experienced struck an unfamiliar stationary object, which was blocking the roadway.”
